adventures in bathing

Over the last week, bathing Beck has become quite a challenge.  First he figured out that he could sit up in his baby bathtub, which made hair washing and rinsing a little more challenging but would have been all right.  However, about a day later he decided that sitting up wasn't good enough...he wanted to crawl and climb out of the bathtub if at all possible.  Bath time began to resemble a wrestling match, and despite my size advantage I have to tell you I was not winning.  So, in an effort to make bath time a little more productive (as in actually getting him washed as opposed to just keeping him from drowning or knocking himself out) and enjoyable for both of us, we decided to put him directly in the regular bathtub.  It wasn't perfect, but he seemed happier and I stayed a little drier, so I guess you could say it was a success.
