1. The later you go to bed, the earlier your child will wake up.
2. If you have more than one child, they will never sleep late on the same day.
3. Dads' hearing is impaired (at least as to sounds made by babies and children) before 7:00 a.m.

I second #1 and #3. Take a nap.
I second all of them, but do know that when they get older and can get their own cereal and operate the remote control, Mommy can at least stay in bed...if not be totally 100% asleep.
