Happy Birthday, Mom!

I'm thinking of you today, as you celebrate your birthday halfway around the world.  I'm imagining you drinking coffee on a veranda overlooking the Swiss countryside, opening the birthday cards that we packed into your suitcase before you left nearly three weeks ago.  I hope you're having an amazing vacation, but I wish you were here so that we could all give you a hug and wish you a happy birthday in person.
