As we prepare to leave for our weekend in Las Vegas, I am reminded of how incredibly lucky we are to be able to leave our boys and never once have to worry about their safety or their happiness while we're away. Thanks to our wonderful parents, we have regular date nights, we rarely have to turn down an invitation to spend time with friends, and we can even go on vacation just about any time we want. Not to mention that I almost always have help with the boys when Scott is at work...a real lifesaver. In the three and a half years since Gage was born, we have never had to leave our kids with anyone other than our parents...how many people can say that?? Not only is it great for Scott and I, but the boys always have fun and I know they will have strong, close relationships with Nana & Papa and Grammy & Gramps as they grow up. We may not have a big family, but the family we have is grand.

OH yeah!! You guys have a great time and be thankful that you can go....knowing your boys are very well taken care of. It's a great feeling, isn't it?
