in the closet

Well, it's official...my boys have reached the point where sibling rivalry and bickering is pretty much a constant state of affairs. I knew it would happen eventually, and as an only child I don't think I'll ever really understand it. Why would you want to constantly argue and fight with someone you have to live with every day? Don't get me wrong...they have their tender moments with each other...but lately they're definitely the exception rather than the rule.

But for some mysterious reason there is one spot in the house where the boys can play together for long stretches of time without any raised voices, physical altercations, or tears. It's the hall coat closet.

I don't know what it is about that tiny little space that inspires such cooperation and harmony, but believe me I'm grateful!

I'm seriously considering hanging clothing rods around the whole house to see what happens...

Oooh, the closet house--what a kid's dream. A fort, but the entire house.

Love that they play in there well together, you'd think it would be exactly the opposite!
